ABOUT STADD

STADD is a development-focussed consulting organisation contributing to aspects of sustainable development. We offer tested solutions based on participative principles to ensure an accelerated rate of implementation in the field. This is achieved by devising a suitable strategy, providing technology and ensuring committed delivery. STADD functions as a catalysing force, contributing within the framework of outlined project objectives.

Our focus is to provide innovative and sustainable solutions to improve the lot of the poor and marginalised. The goal is to integrate with resource management practices, develop skills and capacity, and deploy strengthened institutional mechanisms to make a difference. We are conscious of achieving maximum value from defined budgets.

Our experience, capability and commitment allow us to involve ourselves as a technically qualified and committed professional group. By doing so we hope to positively influence the quality of life of rural poor by improving their quality of life in a sustainable manner.

STADD has been contributing to projects for organisations such as CFC, ICIMOD, IFAD, JBIC, Sir Ratan Tata Trust, Tata Steel, UNCTAD, UNDP-GEF and USAID, and looks forward to working with agencies, donor and technical, keen to contribute to the cause of development. We would be pleased to contribute to efforts of grassroots institutions should they need our support in areas of our specialisation.
